I know this cartoon is more about business, but this brought to mind a different scapegoat tactic I learned from my grandfather. When you have an impromptu performance by the the old butt tuba, it's nice to have an excuse handy. My grandpa blamed "California Barking Spiders." Curiously, when we moved to Texas it turned out that they had barking spiders there also...who knew? |
